Willan Academy of Music Presents: The Build & Play: Inventor's Music Session

This program will take place at Mosholu Library.

 Inventor’s Music Session is an engaging workshop designed for elementary school- aged children, transforming the space into an Inventors Lab where kids can step into the shoes of young inventors specializing in music. Participants will be provided with various materials such as cardboard tubes, rubber bands, beans, and tins to create unique musical instruments like guitars, violins, and shakers. The session includes a storytelling element where each child’s crafted instrument becomes a piece of a larger symphony, which they’ll collaboratively compose and perform at the event’s conclusion. This hands-on, creative activity not only fosters musical appreciation but also encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation among the young inventors.
