West Point On The March
West Point On The March features the renowned West Point Band in a stirring program celebrating one of America’s most iconic musical traditions. West Point on the March is a thrilling tribute to the power, precision, and pageantry of the military march, performed by one of the nation’s premier military ensembles.
The West Point Band is the U.S. Army’s oldest band and the oldest continuously operating unit at West Point, with more than 200 years of history dedicated to world-class musical excellence. Tracing its roots to the field musicians stationed at West Point after the Revolutionary War—when General George Washington established the post in 1778—the band has grown into a cultural institution that educates, trains, and inspires the Corps of Cadets while serving as musical ambassadors for the United States Military Academy and the U.S. Army.
