The Hudson River Valley hosts an impressive diversity of bird species, even during the winter months. Explore Wave Hill?s tranquil gardens and woodlands with naturalists Paul Keim and Gabriel Willow to observe birds in their winter habitat. Birders of all levels encouraged. Ages 10 and older welcome with an adult. A limited number of binoculars are available for borrowing at the Perkins Visitor Center. Space is limited. Severe weather cancels. Registration required, online or by calling 718.549.3200 x251. This winter, birding is free with admission to the grounds. Questions? One walk will be a hike in the woodland trails and the other on more even surfaces.
