Village of Mamaroneck Independence Day Celebration
The Village of Mamaroneck annual Independence Day celebrations features family-friendly festivities, the Fire Department Carnival, live music, and culminating with a stunning fireworks display over the Long Island Sound. This dazzling show draws over 20,000 spectators to Harbor Island Park, a scenic 44-acre waterfront park that offers some of the most spectacular views in Westchester County. The celebration begins at 4 p.m. with the opening of the 76th annual, beloved Firemen’s Carnival. Organized by the Village of Mamaroneck Volunteer Fire Department, the carnival offers rides, games, food, and classic festival treats. Proceeds from the carnival support the Fire Department and are reinvested in community programs such as recreation sports programs, day camp scholarships, and youth fire prevention programs.

At 5:30 p.m., Bill Steely & Where’s Dave Band will perform. Bill Steely is a published American songwriter who specializes in Country and Americana music who has created many hit singles for country artists.
At 6:30 p.m., award-winning vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter Curtis Salgado takes the stage. Called “an icon” with “a huge voice” by NPR, he recently won the Soul Blues Male Artist award at the 43rd annual Blues Music Awards.
At 7:45 p.m., the stage lights up with AYANNA and her 9-piece All-Star Band, featuring world-class musicians who have toured with Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Usher, and more. Known for their high-energy performances, AYANNA and her band will deliver a show packed with all-American hit songs spanning from the 1970s to today.
Finally, at approximately 9:15 p.m., the sky above Long Island Sound will come to life with the Village’s legendary fireworks display to culminate the patriotic fun.
