Swim Across America – Larchmont Shore Club Pool Swim

Join. Swim Across America for the inaugural pool swim at the Larchmont Shore Club! This pool swim will take place the same morning as Swim Across America’s big open water swim in Long Island Sound.

Swim Across America – Long Island Sound is holding 8 pool swims, in addition to its big open water swim, to raise funds for crucial cancer research. The pool swims specifically have a focus on supporting pediatric cancer research and treatments. Swim Across America – Long Island Sound’s special ‘Kids for Kids’ program encourages even the youngest swimmers to dive in and make waves to fight cancer. Swimmers can swim either 1/2- mile or 1-mile or form relay teams. 

Proceeds from the swims will support cancer immunotherapy research at the Swim Across America Laboratory, the research laboratories of Dr. Luis Diaz and the MSK Kids Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, immunotherapy research and clinical trials at the Swim Across America Laboratory at Weill Cornell Cancer Center, pediatric oncology research at Morgan Columbia University Medical Center and patient services with Cancer Support Team. With eight participating Westchester County swim clubs participating, there is an opportunity for all ages to make waves to fight cancer. All swimmer participants will receive a t-shirt and towel.
