WHAT:
As part of Climate Week NYC, RXR and the New Rochelle Business Improvement District (NRBID) present Sustainable at Home on The Plaza at Clinton Park — a free public event celebrating sustainability, community, and climate action in the heart of Downtown New Rochelle. Attendees will experience eco-friendly workshops, plant-based food tastings, sustainable living demonstrations, and community campaigns — all highlighting how small actions can add up to a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient city.

COST:
- Free and open to the public.
- No ticket is required to attend. However, if you register in advance here on Eventbrite, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a Downtown New Rochelle restaurant gift card.

About the Activators:
- Petals & Bloom: Creating sustainable, seasonal bouquets with ethically sourced blooms. Join this workshop to craft your own arrangement while learning eco-friendly floral tips.
- Jolo’s Vegan Kitchen: A New Rochelle eatery that prioritizes sustainability by focusing on plant-based, natural, and fresh ingredients. Jolo’s will be serving their famous vegan Caribbean and world-inspired patties and a variety of their fresh-pressed juices.
- Plant Candy: Treat yourself with a simple, creative plant-based lifestyle. Enjoy a sustainable experience proving that simple ingredients can be both delicious and impactful. Serving plant-based charcuterie boards, Plant Candy makes healthy living feel joyful, creative, and connected to the New Rochelle community.
- TULU: A sustainable living platform that reduces waste and promotes access over ownership by providing residents with on-demand rental units stocked with everyday items. At Clinton Park and other RXR residential properties, TULU units allow residents to easily rent appliances, tools, and lifestyle products, creating a more convenient and eco-friendly way of living.
- RXR & Bozzuto: Dedicated to creating sustainable residential communities, RXR & Bozzuto will be offering tours of One and Two Clinton Park, highlighting the buildings’ sustainable features, such as its green building certifications and resident programming.

The New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District (NRBID) implements and manages programs that make Downtown New Rochelle a clean, safe, and beautiful place to work, visit, and play. Through events like Sustainable at Home, NRBID highlights the vibrancy of the district while fostering a stronger, more connected community.
