School’s Out / Art’s In

Tuesdays November 4, 11, and Friday, November 28

Workshops at 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, and 1:00 PM

On select school vacation days, teaching artists lead unique art projects in connection to our current exhibition.

· Tuesday, November 4 – Exploring Watercolors

Develop unique watercolor paintings using a variety of techniques inspired by artist Shen Wei.

· Tuesday, November 11 – White & Black

Get creative with mixed-up black and white materials: layer, experiment, blend, and design in unexpected ways.

· Friday, November 28 – Experimental Landscapes

Transform abstract colors, forms, and marks into dream-like painted landscapes.

Ages 3-8 with an adult; ages 9 and up can be dropped off. A quieter area is available for participants wishing for a sensory-friendly environment. Registration strongly recommended as space is limited. Tickets must be purchased for adults and children and includes Museum admission.
