Teaching artists lead unique art projects during spring break. From whimsical sculptures to multi-layered collages and vibrant painting explorations, each day offers a new activity to spark your child’s imagination.

Tuesday: Hidden Character Collage- Experiment with drawing and collage techniques to playfully disguise figures throughout your artwork.

Wednesday: Whimsical Creatures- Make a whimsical sculpture inspired by the work of exhibition artist Ali Banisadr and your own imagination.

Thursday: Painting to Music- Using music as a starting point, translate sounds into art through expressive mark-making. Develop a series of mini paintings while experimenting with a variety of brushes and tools.

Friday: Magical Painted Characters - What can we see within abstracted paintings? Discover how spontaneous brushstrokes and abstracted forms can be turned into fantastical figures in this creative painting workshop.

Ages 3-8 with an adult; ages 9 and up can be dropped off.  Space is limited. Registration is strongly recommended.
