Opening Reception: “Love Thy Neighbor” exhibiton

A collection of original paintings, entitled “Love Thy Neighbor”, by local artist Lori Kapner Hosp will be on exhibition at the Scarsdale Public Library from October 1 through October 30, 2025.
100% of the proceeds from the exhibition will go to organizations that protect freedom of speech and religion, fight hate and discrimination, and/or support interfaith understanding.
An opening reception will be held on Sunday, October 5 from 2-4 pm. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
“The focus of this exhibition is to foster goodwill among people of different faiths and to inspire appreciation of one another’s differences”, Hosp explains.
Beneficiaries of the show include NYCLU (ACLU of New York), NAACP and ADL (Anti-Defamation League). The way it works is that a donor chooses a painting and makes the suggested donation directly to the organization; Hosp then gifts the painting to the donor.
