New Rochelle Sings Joey Contreras

NYC-based singer/songwriter Joey Contreras — an alum of the Johnny Mercer Project — has been in residence at New Rochelle High School, working with the students interested in musical theater. On February 15th hear the results of this MasterClass in a special concert featuring Joey Contreras; the evening will also feature three guest stars, direct from Broadway: Ben Fankhauser (original “Davey” in Newsies), Emily Kristen Morris (“Elphaba” in Wicked), and the inimitable Julie James (Sirius XM On Broadway). There will be song, dance, art, strings, etc… Tickets cost $25 dollars, with funds going to the Aaron Davis Scholarship, a scholarship started after the tragic passing of Aaron Davis, Class of 20.
