Life in Color – A Tribute to Maxine Jurow: Art Sale & Fundraiser

Join us for a special evening celebrating the life and legacy of beloved Huntington artist Maxine Jurow.
Hosted by Suite Pieces and the Huntington Arts Council, Life in Color will feature a curated collection of Maxine’s original works — exhibited in the very space where her studio once was.

Maxine Jurow was known for her vibrant abstract paintings inspired by landscapes from Long Island to Australia, layering color, texture, and movement to capture pure emotion. She spent decades creating in Huntington and left an indelible mark on the local arts community.

Now, five years after her passing, we invite you to experience and collect pieces from her life’s work — with all proceeds benefiting a new scholarship fund supporting young, aspiring artists. It’s a rare opportunity to own original artwork from a celebrated local artist while helping to inspire the next generation of creatives.

Guests will enjoy an inspiring night of art, community, cocktails, and light bites.
