Hudson Valley Irish Fest Celebration Featuring Daisy Jopling Band and the Narrowbacks

The Hudson Valley Irish Fest & Center are celebrating their 15th anniversary with this collaborative show! Enjoy an evening of phenomenal Irish music and dance, featuring Daisy Jopling’s Band and the bold sound of the Narrowbacks. Violinist Daisy Jopling has toured the world performing solo in many iconic venues including the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, Lincoln Center and the Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14, and she has recorded nine albums, two with BMG RCA Victor. Daisy’s deep love of Irish music springs from the great tunes and artists who influenced her own skills during her many visits to her childhood family home in Kerry, Ireland. She is honored to be part of this wonderful celebration. Daisy will also feature local young talent, including the Peekskill City Singers directed by Larry Del Casale and Ovation Strings directed by Susan Feldman. The brainchild of a future banker and a drop out bartender, The Narrowbacks bring fresh voices for song and stories, old and new. From late-night sing songs, a couple whiskeys and a few lost jobs they’ve brought a young punk attitude that finds itself running through the veins of an old-time folk band.
