Hans Christian Andersen Storytelling Series in Central Park

Calling all parents and grandparents–here is a fun, free Saturday morning activity in Central Park for you and your children 10 and under. This is the 67th year of storytelling in Central Park, and the longest storytelling event in New York City. These hour-long storytelling sessions feature world-class storytellers performing stories from around the world with elements of music, art, movement and interactive participation. Stories are classics from everywhere, from India to Eastern Europe to Africa, along with Hans Christian Andersen classics you know and love.
Meet at the Hans Christian Andersen statue, which is across from the Model Boat Pond. The nearest park entrance is at 5th Avenue and 72nd Street. Bathrooms and food are nearby.
