“First Friday: In Bloom“ is a joyful celebration in honor of Women’s History Month and in anticipation of spring! The event will feature sculptural flower bouquets symbolizing femininity, softness, power, and togetherness created by multidisciplinary artist, Jahmadi. These one-of-a-kind arrangements will be displayed throughout the space, transforming the Museum’s event space into a living garden.
In addition to the flowers, guests are invited to enjoy complimentary beverages and light bites, while supplies last. There will also be an arts and crafts table, where you can make a floral-inspired artwork to take home! Plus, the Museum’s galleries will be open late with the critically acclaimed exhibition, The Seventh AIM Biennial: Forms of Connection, on view for you to explore.
The night will conclude with a raffle—with winners taking home Jahmadi’s signature bouquets! Select arrangements will also be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting The Bronx Museum’s work to uplift underrepresented artists and provide free access to vital and affirming creative experiences.
