Christine and Laura do Half Hours
Christine Kim and Laura Merli co-headline this stand-up show that explores life’s unsavory moments. Featuring Liz Glazer (CBS, ABC) and Chanel Ali (Girl Code, Food Network)
Christine Kim’s comedy has been described by her peers as “mischievous” “quirky” and “smart”. She is well known for her “bummer” factor and not being afraid of the dark while being told she has a great deal of flawed logic, but in a GOOD way. She is one of the 2021 SNL Scholarship Recipients and the executive producer of the SOLD-OUT Very Big Very Asian Comedy (& Festival) which premiered May 2022 at Broadway Comedy Club in NYC. She has been seen on NBC and Nickelodeon, and has been written up in Timeout, Ladyspike Media, Star Magazine, Grey Journal and more.
Laura Merli is an NYC-based standup, actress, and writer. She amassed over 1.5 million likes on TikTok, appeared in the New York Comedy festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, and was the first runner up in The Ladies of Laughter stand up competition. Her humor is deadpan and dark with a mix of absurdity. Every Wednesday, she hosts a stand up show (Good Girl) at one of the hottest alt-comedy spots in Brooklyn, Friends & Lovers. She’s also written for Reductress, McSweeney’s, and The Hard Times.
