Do you know what to do if you find a baby squirrel or bird that has fallen from its nest or if you stumble upon a fawn lying alone in the woods? Will a mama opossum come back for a joey that’s fallen off her back and does a newly hatched turtle need its mother to survive? With the help of the staff from the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, you will learn how to recognize when a baby animal needs help or not, how to reintroduce a healthy baby with its mother and the most important things to do to keep a baby in distress stable until it can get to a wildlife rehabilitator. Come with your questions. The answers might surprise you!
