“Guaiba: Quiet presence of light”

Elisa Bosse is a 23-year-old artist from Bergen, Norway, currently based in Berlin. Growing she lived and studied in Norway, Germany and New York. She is finishing her studies at Weissensee Kunsthochschule Berlin after a semester in Porto Alegre, Brazil. As a co-founder of the Innocent Art Collective, alongside Delphine Wigger and Steffen Kurras, she organizes, curates, and exhibits art.

Her work consists of large-scale, watery paintings on canvas. Lately, she has been exploring nature with its life, power, calmness and knowledge. Exploring our relation to it, believing really seeing and connecting with nature would help us treat it better. In today’s world, she sees this as an urgent topic. Through painting, Elisa engages intimately with nature, encouraging a renewed awareness of its existence and significance.

Elisa’s latest body of work expands on this exploration by focusing on the sun—capturing it as shifting watercolors of light. Her upcoming exhibition in New York will reflect this fascination. Meanwhile, she continues preparing for an exhibition in Berlin for Gallery Weekend.

Elisa’s work will be on display in the HudCo Atrium:
