Kids Short Story Connection

Does your child like to read and write stories? Greenburgh's Kids Short Story Connection is the place where kids between 10 and 14 can meet in small classes with kids their age who share their loves. In two-hour, every other Saturday morning workshops led by published authors, young writers create new stories, read them aloud and listen to stories written by their peers. In this nurturing environment, young writers make friends while learning creative skills and getting encouragement from teachers and new-found friends. Six in person, ongoing, bi-weekly sessions will be held at Greenburgh Town Hall. An annual anthology of poems, short stories and excerpts-from-novels by program participants is published annually.
