4th Annual VEG Cares 5K to Benefit Local Pets

The Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is hosting its 4th Annual VEG Cares 5K to support underserved pets across the U.S.  VEG Cares 5K is a fun run/family walk that is pet friendly. There are many ways to participate: timed race, virtual run, fun run-walk, or just join in on the food, games and fun!

All 5K registration proceeds will go directly to VEG’s charitable program, VEG Cares, which provides life-saving care to pets in need in local VEG communities. 100% of all donations go toward providing these animals with emergency care at our VEG hospitals nationwide. VEG Cares provides life-saving care to pets in need at all VEG hospitals. These needs include pets with families facing financial distress, animals displaced by natural disasters, police, service & fire animals, and animals under the care of a shelter or rescue organization. Since 2019, VEG Cares has saved over 2,000 animal lives (and counting!) Pet and family friendly event to support underserved pets across the U.S.
